1. SCOPE

This specification covers performance,methods and quality requirements for Mini Universal Serial Bus(USB) type plug and receptacle connectors. These connectors are cable mounted plug and printed circuit board mounted receptacle conneclors.

2. REQUIREMENTS

 

2.1   Design and Construction

2.2   Materials :They are specified on applicable product drawing.

        Plating:

       2.2.1.Underplate: Minimum 1.25 micrometers (50 microinches) nickel. Copper over base material is optional.

       2.2.2. Mating Area: Minimum 0.05 micrometers (2 microinches ) gold, or gold flash

       2.2.3. Solder Tails: Minimum 2 micrometers (80 microinches) tin over the underplate.

 

2.3   Ratings
